Gracie has become Miss independent and insists on doing things herself without mommy or daddy helping her (this is a good thing for her except when she gets frustrated at herself and pitches a little fit- wonder who she gets that one from?!:) Well, daddy has been taking her to her swing set in the evenings and she has been practicing climbing up the ladder. She really is cute when she is trying to do something new. She gets focused in on it and gets so proud of herself when she can do it. Well, tonight I got a few shots of her in action. Gracie also got a new outside toy today (thanks to my friend Lori who was so sweet to let us borrow it from her little boy, Charlie.) She didn't know what to think at first but then was determined to get up in it. Well, she refused to use the hole that opens up into it and decided to climb up the slide. Daddy and I had to laugh because she would climb up, slide down, climb up, slide down and get so frustrated but was determined to do it herself. She refused daddy's help and got mad when he tried to push her up. Well, she didn't end up making it by herself- we will have to keep practicing!:) Ahhh, the life of a determined little toddler!:)

Yeah an update=) I was missing Gracie pictures. Maybe Gracie just needs some new people to play with and help her with new things like her aunt and uncle=) See ya'll soon (gotta practice my accent).
The pics were precious!!!! And so were the descriptions!!! I was laughing as I pictured her doing these new things!! Can't wait to see her! The camera will be busy! We love you guys!! Grammy or GeeGEE!!
The "by myself" only gets worse- it is helpful though when you have another baby;) She's so cute and, as I was looking back at my Grace's pics, your Gracie reminds me so much of her at that age. Record everything right now b/c she's about to grow from a baby to a big girl in a blink!
