Happy Thanksgiving!!

Gracie had a great 2nd Turkey Day!:) This morning when I went into her room she first wanted out and then said "Happy Thanksgiving mommy"!:) We went over to my parents house to eat lunch with them and my grandmother. We had a wonderful feast and Gracie enjoyed herself also. She especially liked the "happy" cake my grandmother made (which was pound cake). I do have to brag on my sweet girl (this is our blog we can do that, right?:)). While eating lunch Gracie was jabbering as usual and she started talking about her name. She knows that her name starts with G and even recognizes it when she sees it. But today she started saying G and then continued to say "G-R-A-C-I-E. She spelled her name and did it several times. We all just sat with mouths open in amazement. Then we started clapping and she kept wanting to do it again!! Isn't she a smarty?? She gets that from her daddy!:) After Gracie's nap, daddy and I took her to the park to play and she had a blast running around playing!! The Lord has blessed us tremendously with a wonderful family and we are so grateful for that! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that everyone else had one as well!! This is a blowup turkey that someone had up in our neighborhood. Gracie has loved this turkey for weeks and loved to ride by it every time we came into the neighborhood. Daddy rode us by it this morning and I had to take a picture. I told daddy I wanted to let Gracie stand by it for a picture but daddy wouldn't let me!!:) Nana, me and Papa!Posing with Papa- we couldn't get her to smile for us!:(

Opening an early Christmas present from Nana and Papa!! It was the Little People Nativity Scene!!Checking out the animals!:)

Thanking Nana with kisses!

I love this picture of my two sweeties!!

Gracie,
You always have been a smart little girl and I understand per Uncle Ryan that they are holding a spot for a Brillant Little Girl Named Gracie Leigh Bechtel. I sure am proud of my little girl. Now I have even more to brag about, as if that was necessary.
I Love You. Love Pop Pop

In case those that want to know the school that is holding a spot for Gracie it is Georgia Tech.
