Sisters and Coming Home!

On our second day in the hospital (August 31st) Gracie came up to meet her little sister! I have to tell you it was the sweetest thing I have ever seen! I won't forget her face as she stood at the hospital room door and looked in. It was a face of excitement, a little nervous and just pure joy! She came in and brought us a balloon and flowers she had picked out with Gingy and Poppop the day before! She came right up and was so excited to give Lillie her present. Awhile ago I took Gracie to pick out a few things that she could give to Lillie. She wanted to give her pacifiers, a lovie (like hers) and a little pink rattle bear! It was so cute to see her pull it all out and pile it on top of sister!:) Then we suprised her with gifts from Lillie! She loved that and still talks about how Lillie gave her this or that!:) Gracie was also excited to hold Lillie so we let her hold her and she just smiled and loved on her! She has been a wonderful Big Sister!!
We also got to come home that day! YAY!! Craig and I both were feeling cramped in the hospital room and just anxious to get home! We didn't leave until late in the afternoon but it was so nice to be at home with our girls that night! Here are some pictures of our day! Meeting Lillie for the first time!
