This past weekend began the week long celebration of the Cherry Blossom Festival! We have enjoyed this time of the year for the past two years! The trees are just gorgeous (I plan to take some pictures this weekend and post them) and there are lots of fun things to do! Everyone seems to get into the spirit around town! You find pink bows and flowers on everyone's doors and mailboxes and Chick-fil-la even has pink ice cream!:) On Sat. we went downtown to Central City Park to let G have some fun! It's like a big fair set up down there with lots of rides, vendors and entertainment! G had fun riding the carousal and the bounce slide! I couldn't believe she wanted to do it. I mean that thing was high up there! I was holding my breath the whole time! She did it once and loved it and was ready to go again. She had to wait her turn for a few other kids to go. As she was waiting an older girl slid down and did a bounce landing and that scared her and she was done! Of well! We walked around and enjoyed the sights and then headed back home! We went back on Sunday for Gracie's dance and I will post those pics soon!
