Craig and I were able to go on a little getaway trip this past weekend! We called it our Happy Everything trip... Happy Late Anniversary, Happy Early Birthday to me, and Happy end of summer semester for Craig!:) We went to the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee! Neither one of us had ever been but heard it was wonderful and it was!! It is only about an hour from Macon so it was the perfect getaway trip! Nana and Papa kept the girls for us which we REALLY appreciate! Otherwise we would not have been able to get away for three nights! We spent one night at home in Macon and two at the Ritz! It was so nice not to be in any hurry, be lazy by the pool and eat amazing food! On Sunday night they had a live band playing and we just sat on our balcony and enjoyed the music and ordered room service! We made it down for smores by the campfire and then watched fireworks over the lake! The next night we went out to dinner at a restaurant there and enjoyed delicious food! Here are a few pictures of our trip and a few of the girls that Papa sent us while we were away!

The food was amazing and we spent 2 1.2 hours at dinner....fabulous! There was no hurry and we just enjoyed ourselves! Craig had told them we were celebrating my birthday early so they surprised me with dessert! It was a chocolate molten cake with almond ice cream...melt in your mouth good!
