Star Student

A few weeks ago Gracie was chosen to be Star Student for the week! This is a big deal for their class! Each child gets to have a turn throughout the year! It's a full week of things! On Monday we had to send a sheet that we filled out of questions about Gracie! I read them to her and she wrote her answers! Then she got to share what she wrote in class! On Tuesday, we had to make something creative (pictures, book about yourself, etc.). We made a poster all about Gracie, her family and the things she likes! On Wed. a parent goes to read a story during library time! I went and G picked out her Princess Grace book for me to read! That was fun for me too! Made me miss teaching...just a little!:) On Thursday it was bring in your favorite snack and G wanted rice Krispie treats, fruit snacks, goldfish and caprisons! Lillie and I took those in and that was fun too just to be in her class and see her with all her little friends! Friday was fill a large bag that they gave us with all of your favorite things! I let G fill it with things she loves: ballet shoes, book, strawberry shortcake, UGA dog, etc. It was a fun week! Here are a few pictures!

We had to fill out a sheet of questions and one was "Someone I want to be like..." and she said Daddy! I thought that was so sweet!

She wanted Lillie and I to stay for her math lesson! They were talking about whole and half and used apple cutouts to help them! It was cute!
