14 Months!

I realized the other day that I have not done a blog updated on Lillie is so long! I think I skipped 13 months altogether and so much has happened in the last two months!! Lillie turned 14 months yesterday! Let me tell you she is into EVERYTHING and having the best time getting into it all!!:) She is officially walking!!!! I knew this would be bitter sweet! Sad that my baby is growing up and happy that she is learning and growing up all at the same time! (I have lots of videos of her from her first steps to now but our desktop computer where I finally downloaded them is now back in the shop for the 4th time!!! Arghhhhhh!! All that to say....I will have to just write about it and show videos later on!) Lillie took her first steps on Sept. 21st~ she was 12 1.2 months old! After that she didn't seem interested again until Sept. 26th when she took about 3 steps! Fast forward to Oct. 12th and all of a sudden she was ready to start walking! Daddy was out of town and we were playing in the playroom and all of a sudden she took about 8 steps! I ran and grabbed my camera and got that on video. She was 13 months old! Since then it's been non stop! Its so neat to see the progression from wobbling, falling and then finally getting it!:) She still gets shy at church and MMO and won't walk alot for them but it's her mode of transportation around the house at home!

She is jabbering alot more..saying "mama", "dada", "hi" and "bye"...those are the words you can make out! She is a little girl that knows what she wants though and when she sees it she starts motioning with both arms and it's so cute! She has also started blowing kisses and thinks that is so funny!

She is getting into her puzzles, blocks and still loves to push her baby doll stroller or lion walker around the house! She also loves just carrying random things around the house too! She loves the remote control (and not the one that we took the batteries out of but the one that actually works~ ha) After the girls went to bed one night daddy came and asked me if I had seen the remote. I told him to check the playroom and he found it in the kitchen!:)Something I wanted to remember that Lillie does is she loves to play with my hair! She use to play with it while I was nursing her but now she loves to play with it while I'm rocking her to sleep. Also, when I am carrying her on my hip her hand automatically goes to my hair and she just grabs on and holds it in her hand! I guess it is her comfort but I just love it! It's something I want to remember about her! Gracie never did that! Each girl has had their different little thing that they like to do and it's neat to see! (Can you tell in the picture above that Lillie is less than thrilled to have Gracie put her arm around her! She does not like to be bothered and doesn't want G to hold on to her! HA!)This picture is better!:) Lillie is our good little eater for the most part! We went through a spell a few weeks ago where she ate nothing and screamed every time she was in her booster seat but it passed! I think she was getting in her molar teeth! She loves chicken nuggets, broccoli, bananas, cheese toast, mac-n-cheese, spaghetti, meatloaf and will try pretty much what we are having which is nice! We are having fun with our girls and have really enjoyed this fall season now that Lillie is older! I have alot of pictures to post from G's Fall Festival at school and Halloween so stay tuned!:)
