Last week in between dance camp we squeezed in some art time! Its been to hot to be outside unless we are at the pool so we have tried to be creative inside after lunch and naps! Gracie wanted to paint one day so after lunch we broke out the paints and brushes and got busy! Gracie is our little artist that loves to draw, color and paint! She is always coming up with creative crafts and pictures! Lillie loves to color too but really enjoyed herself painting! I have also been wanting to make homemade play dough for the girls for awhile and found a fun recipe on another blog and we finally made it! Gracie really enjoyed helping me and thought it was cool that we used Kool Aid as one of the ingredients! I have to say so far this has been the best recipe I've tried! I've made a few other recipes for play dough when Gracie was smaller but this one seems to work well and smells good too! It is a little greasy but we just wash up when done. The girls both love to do this and it is great entertainment! You can click here for the recipe...on this blog she doubled the recipe but I didn't and it made plenty for us! Try it out if you have time! Your house will smell of yummy fruit and I'm sure your child will have tons of fun with it like my girls have!:)
