Fair Fun Day

This past Weekend Gingy and Poppop came for a visit! They were so sweet to babysit on Friday night for us so we could go to our Sunday School supper club. On Saturday we all went to Gracie's last soccer game (pictures to come from off our camera) and then we all headed down to Perry for a day at the Fair. None of us had ever been (except Craig one time in college but he barely remembers it-ha) so we were excited! Both girls had a blast. G loved the rides and both girls loved the animals. Lillie about went into hysterics over the cows-ha! That sweet girl loves her some "moo cows"!;) Gracie hasn't stopped talking about the baby chicks she saw. It was a fun day but we were ALL very tired when we got home!;) Here are some pictures from my phone. Enjoy!


Riding her first ride! She was so brave and did them all by herself except the bumper cars. We would have ridden some with her but they would have made us have tickets too. Boo! Lillie was not tall enough to ride any of the rides except the carousel (with an adult of course) but when I went to put her on a horse she freaked out. She's ridden one before in the Spring at the Cherry Blossom Festival but wasn't having it yesterday. I did get my 6 tickets back though-ha!

Pig races...the girls loved this too! They are hard to see but they are climbing up some steps about to go for a swim!

A sweet lady came over and asked if the girls wanted to pet a cow. She showed us which cow was "friendly" and we had to coax Lillie into it. Once we did she couldn't stop petting it!;) G wasn't really into petting the cow but Lil loved it!

Craig got Gracie a treat..it was ice cream on a stick and they dipped it in cherry sauce and then in sprinkles. She loved it but it was messy!;)
