I'm so behind on my blogging and it doesn't seem like I'll get caught up anytime soon. Oh well...we're making memories and having fun and I'll get them all documented one day!;) One very special memory event happened a few weeks ago. Our church put on a Father/Daughter dinner. You have to be in kindergarten to be able to attend so this was Gracie's first year. I think they do it all the way up until 12th grade. They break the ages up by grade. I believe Gracie's was 5k-3rd grade. She was beyond excited about her special date with daddy. Being a newbie to this I did not realize how big of a deal this was until talking with other parents the week of the event. They sent an e-mail out giving some tips to dads (open door, bring flowers, etc.). G was just going to wear a church dress but after telling Craig about how some other girls were getting all "fancy" he said let's go let her pick one out (with our controlled approval of course-ha) We took her and we had a sparkly fluffy twirly pink one!;) I ordered her flowers and daddy "brought" them to the front door when he picked her up that evening. She had the best time! They took pictures there, had an activity room with crafts and games for dads and daughters and then a sit down dinner. They transformed the gym into a beautiful setting. These are the only pictures from my phone. I have some from my camera I will download soon and they are going to send us pictures from that night and I will post those when I get them!

My pretty princess!

Flowers from daddy!

All ready for her special date!

So excited!

Lillie and I had a mommy/daughter date of some shopping and CFA with friends so she wouldn't feel left out!;) She's got a few more years until she can go but it will be fun when both girls can go!
