Lillie took swimming lessons for the first time back at the beginning of May. Gracie has taken for four years from a lady here who has taught for 30 plus years! G did fantastic with her so we were excited for Lillie to try. I thought I'd be doing a mommy and me class with Lillie but turns out she was too old. So, my little munchkin had to be a big girl and be in a class by herself. Mrs. Julie has a clubhouse were all the parents stay during the lesson and try and peak through the blinds to see their child. At first I didn't like it but completely understand after Lillie taking. Poor Lillie cried the first entire week. It's everyday for two weeks and each session is 30 minutes. I knew she just needed to overcome her fear and being with me or seeing me would not have helped. The second week she made a turn around and was jumping off the diving board and having fun! Now she's a little fish and we can't stop her even when we try! She loves the water! So, another successful year at Mrs. Julie's swim school!;)
