Nashville

We went house hunting twice at the beginning of July. Craig had only been there once before for his interview and I had never been there. The girls stayed with Gingy and Poppop over the July fourth weekend and we headed up. We had already done a ton of research on houses, neighborhoods and schools. We had narrowed our search down to Franklin and had a great realtor who showed us around. It was a long process, discouraging at times but God showed us the house that was meant to be ours and on the second trip we made an offer and the sellers accepted! Everything has really fallen into place and God has showed us that this is the right move for our family! He has already blessed us tremendously and we look forward to the next phase in our lives!

Our new home state!;)

Our new house!

We worked hard while we were up there but also found time to squeeze in some sightseeing and fun! On our first trip we lucked out and got tickets to the Grand Ole Opry to see Carrie Underwood! I love her and her music so I was ecstatic! We got tickets five rows back in the center of the stage. It was amazing!! We also ate at several fantastic restaurants on both trips! On the second trip Nana and Papa kept the girls. This was just to do one last walk thru on the house before we committed! We then took time to sightsee more of downtown which was lots of fun! Craig starts work tomorrow and we are excited for him! We will all be up there the first of September to start our adventure!;)

Carrie!!!;)

Yep...she was amazing!

Our section won glow stick necklace during intermission. We thought the girls would have loved them!;)

On our second trip, I got to meet up with Heather, one of my childhood friends! She lives in Nashville and it was so good to see her and catch up! So excited she's up there too!

We went by the bank so Craig could show me his building and office and meet everyone! All his coworkers were very welcoming and they already had his name on his door! I thought that was very thoughtful since he was still a month out then!

Downtown sightseeing...The Parthenon!

Honky Tonk

We had to check out the downtown music strip!;) Found a band playing on a roof top!
