Disney World: Day 1

Our trip to Disney World finally arrived! We had all been excitedly counting down the days. We made the long trip starting on a Friday. We stopped at Nana and Papas and spent the night and then were up again bright and early on Saturday to make the rest of the trip. We got checked in and settled in at our resort on Saturday around lunch and then made our way to the Magic Kingdom! We stayed until the park closed. The girls enjoyed some rides, G rode her first of many roller coasters, met Ariel and Mickey and watched the electrical parade and fireworks! Here are some pictures off my iPhone from day 1!;)


Nana and Papa had supper for us and the cutest little jack-o-lantern cake for the girls!

Meeting Ariel! The characters were so interactive and spent a good amount of time with the girls. Ariel was about 5 minutes. Craig leaned in and asked if I thought I should get the girls but Ariel was leading the conversation so we went with it!


This little munchkin was mesmerized!


Ariel is showing them her "dingle hopper" that she brushes her hair with. G tried to tell her it was just a fork and that we use combs or brushes but Ariel just couldn't understand!;) Both girls thought that was so funny!





Meeting talking Mickey! These characters don't talk so this was a new thing. He was magician Mickey!;) He told the girls he'd just gone on a judge safari and heard the lions roar and wanted them to roar like lions with him. They loved this too!;)
