T-shirts, Cats and Bats!!

Last night I decided to try and be crafty and make a t-shirt for Gracie. I went to visit my friend Lori the other day and she gave me a lesson on making t-shirts without any sewing! (And as alot of you know I can't sew!! I have trouble even sewing a button on! I want to learn one day but today and the near future is not the time for me!:)) Anyway, my dear friend gave me step by step instructions and even gave me the websites she had found, etc. Now, Lori makes fabulous and creative ones for her son. I chose to stick to the basic design but I was still kind of proud of myself. Here is the shirt and Gracie modeling it for you.

I got the shirt from Wal-mart and just printed out my pattern on iron on paper!:)

My sweet model- except she wouldn't look at the camera!:(

For lunch today I decided to break out the halloween cookie cutters and try something different. I made Gracie a cat cream cheese sandwich (which she didn't want anything to do with) and a bat cheese toast sandwich!! She ate the bat sandwich like a pro! When I asked her what they were she told me kitty cat but for the bat she just said cheese toast because she saw the cheese oozing out from the sides.:)

Halloween creations!

Examining her food!

Yummy to my tummy!

House update:
Many of you have asked how the house hunt in Macon is going and we just continue to ask for your prayers. It has been very frustrating to find the right house but we know God will provide for us. We just have to make a decision very soon and it has been difficult. As for selling our house, we have not had any one come and look. It is just a hard time right now and of course not the best time to try and sell. Thanks again for asking and praying for our family

Love the shirt. You did great! It's definitely addicting. Before you know it, you'll have lots of patterns and tshirts in the works. Can't wait to see you again soon! Love ya!

I thought you did a great job on the shirt! And Gracie obviously liked it by the way she was looking at it! Gracie liked her sandwiches! I wonder if her Poppop noticed that her sandwich wasn't it tinnie tiny pieces? hehe! He sure does love her!! Take care and hope to see you soon! Miss you all! Gingy

I'm so impressed! The shirt turned out so cute. You'll have to teach me how to do that too. Give Gracie big kisses from us!
