Bear Parade and Picnic!

Gracie Leigh had her Bear Parade and Picnic today and the parents were able to come. It had to be one of the cutest things I have seen!! First her teacher came out and explained what would happen. They would make an announcement for all the classes to come out and sit in the hallway along the wall. Then her little class would come out and pull their wagons with their lovies around the hallway. It is shaped like a square so they would make one trip around. We were waiting at the front (or end of their route) so they wouldn't see us until the end. (So, the first picture is not good because we are all peering around a wall to see the backs of them as they started!) They were all so cute pulling their wagons! When Gracie turned the corner I think she was a little shocked (as all of them were) because all the parents were standing their with camera's pointed like paparazzi and flashes were going off. It was rather funny! She saw daddy first and started yelling his name and was SO excited! Once we got a few pictures we headed back to their room for them to sing us some songs. They were all a little distracted because their teachers had put their treats of bear cookies and juice in their wagons. (They said they won't do that next time until the very end:). After the songs and blessing we headed outside for the picnic. Gracie was just excited to be in a different place and enjoyed her cookies and juice the most!:) We were able to visit with her teachers and meet some other parents which was nice. We were so proud of her and how well she did! They surprised us at the end with a handmade book of "firsts". It is adorable and she was so proud showing us over and over again!:) We are blessed with such a sweet girl!
