A Little Bit Of This, A Little Bit Of That....

These past few weeks have been busy and we are not slowing down anytime soon! Gracie Leigh is at such a fun age and just loves life everyday! This past weekend we had a "Go Dawgs Party" as G likes to call them! Gracie loves a party and we can turn just about anything into one which is alot of fun! She got all dressed up in her "Go Dawgs" dress, got her pom poms and megaphone and was ready to cheer them to victory! Our friends, the Bush's, came over and we did shrimp and oysters on the grill! It was delicious! We just love the fall season and all the fun that comes along with it!!

I have been meaning to post about this for quite some time now but always forget! I have discovered these great paints that Gracie just loves! I got the idea from her MMO in the spring. They are called Dot Paints (and if you don't have some for your kiddo I highly recommend them!). You can get them from a school supply store along with cute little paint books. She has been through about three or four since the spring. I especially love the one that has the ABC's and numbers 1-10 in it. We would work on a letter a day and she would do the Dot paints on the outline of each letter. They are great! I took a few pictures of her with them on Sat. night at our "Go Dawgs Party"!

Gracie has been LOVING school since she started! She comes home and tells me all about her day, what they did and what her and her friends did! It is too cute! They have been working on the color brown (they are the bears and started off with that) and their shapes. Today was brown day and they were celebrating all they have learned by wearing brown, eating a brown snack and making a brown circle collage! I told Gracie to hold her collage up and smile and this is what I got in the picture below! I thought it was adorable! I just love my sweet big girl!
