Christmas Eve and Morning!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day at our new home in Macon. It has been a full year here and we can't believe it! This time last year we were in the process of moving all our stuff. The movers came bright and early the day after Christmas so this year we were able to enjoy every moment and not be stressed which was nice! God has been so good to us through our transition this past year. He has blessed us with a wonderful home, great friends, a great church family and a new position that Craig really enjoys doing at the bank. We started new traditions this year by it being just the three of us on Christmas Eve. We went to our church's family Christmas Eve service which was amazing. They had a live nativity scene including sheep, donkey and a camel! Gracie Leigh was very much engaged and loved being in "big" church with us. It was wonderful to have that experience with her. She even knew everyone that walked out for the Nativity scene which of course just melted my heart! She is learning so much about Jesus and loves Him already which is something we pray for her daily! After the service we came home to eat and then road around and looked at Christmas lights (mine and Craig's favorite even before G was born). We then baked cookies for Santa and left them out along with carrots and milk! G also got to open one present from us (another tradition) which was pajamas. We tucked her snugly in bed and then went to play Santa. We had alot of fun setting everything up and wrapping some of her presents. We have to wrap some and leave some open because Craig and I grew up with different traditions on that one and neither of us will cave so we compromise!:) When G woke up Christmas morning she was very concerned if Santa ate his cookies and the reindeer ate their carrots. It was cute! She came down the stairs rather shy but warmed up as she saw her presents he left her. We enjoyed watching her unwrap presents and play with her toys. Santa was good to her! Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve and Day!Posing with daddy before leaving for church!
