Day 7 and 8!

I was not able to blog yesterday. One, we were just busy bees and second daddy had the computer most of the afternoon and evening. He is about to start his masters in Jan. so he is having to do alot of pre work to get ready for it. I am so proud of him for going back for his masters! BB&T offered it to him and it was hard to refuse especially since it will help him in the future with his career!! So for Day 7 I was thankful for our wonderful church family that we have become a part of! We love our church, our pastor and our Sunday School. The friends we have made through our church have been such a blessing to us! They have helped us settle in to Macon and now we can say that Macon feels like home to us! We love our pastor and the message that he brings to us each Sunday and our music is just awesome! We look forward each week to worshiping and fellowship with our church family. We have been out of pocket for the last few months but are starting to get back into the swing of things. Lillie went to the nursery for the first time yesterday and did great! She was the only girl in there and was the youngest so all the older ladies just ate her up! :) It is easier the second time around but of course I still miss being away from her! I had planned to take a picture before heading out to church but of course we were running late and that just didn't happen~ HA! So, no pictures for Day 7!
Day 8: I am very thankful for my wonderful In-Laws, Gingy and Poppop! I was not only blessed to marry my wonderful husband but to become a part of another loving and supportive family! Craig's parents have always been so supportive of our marriage and have welcomed me with open arms into there family! I remember when Craig and I had only been dating a year and he left for three months on a mission trip to Africa. I went with his parents to the airport to say goodbye and I was just a big sobbing mess~ HA! I remember them comforting me (even though there son had just left) and telling me it would all be alright. His mom and I would talk throughout the summer when one of us would hear from him and catch each other up on what all he was doing. It was nice that we could just be there for each other. (He was only able to call about 3 times while there). They are now wonderful grandparents to our two sweet girls and for that we are so thankful! It is so important for us that the girls are close to there grandparents and we are so blessed to have two sets who want the same thing! Thanks Gingy and Poppop for all you do for us!

You are really going down memory lane, but the way I remember it was we were all a sobbing mess and comforting each other! Yes, I remember that summer too, because I knew you were going to be my son's wife even though the two of you had not made that announcement! One doesn't have that much emotion at the airport without loving each other! Those phone calls we shared were when the two of us really got to know each other and that was good! Love you all
