Today I am thankful for my sweet Gracie Leigh! She is such a joy to our lives and I don't know what I would do without her! She is full of life and personality and just a sweet heart! She loves mommy and daddy, loves her little sis and all things girly!:) She is at an age where she just soaks up everything and I mean everything! We can hardly get a word out before she asks why or wants to know more about what we are talking about. I love her eagerness and willingness to learn. I love when she comes home from school and tells me what she learns or sings her bible songs for us! She is also learning scripture each month and can recite all the ones she has learned since August! She loves her little sister and has such a loving personality towards her. I love to watch them together. One of my favorite things is to let them both lay in Gracie's bed before nap time and read books to them. Then we all hold hands and Gracie says her little prayer and usually thanks God for Lillie. We are so proud of our sweet big girl and her adjustment to our new little family! I hug her a little tighter everyday because she is just growing up too fast and I try and cherish all the time I have with her!! Here are a few random pictures of Gracie from the last week or so! Enjoy!
Modeling her new dress passed down from her cousin Ainsley before school one day!
Looking at sister while she is sleeping!:)
Posing for me after church on Sunday in her mask she made! They were learning about how to be strong and brave with God!
Our strong girl!
Posing in her new Aerial dress! We got this for Gracie last weekend! She is finally completely potty trained! She has been potty trained during the day since she was about 2 1/2 but always wore a diaper at night and naps. She never stayed dry so I was worried she wouldn't make it all night. Well, two weeks ago we just went for it and she has only had one accident at night! We are so proud of her!
Making chocolate milk!:) Daddy makes G chocolate milk on special occasions and she loves it! She was eating a brownie for lunch the other day and she said she was going to make chocolate milk. I was confused but then she showed me. She took a bite of brownie and then a sip of milk. Pretty smart and funny! I had to get a picture for daddy!:)
