Finishing up 2011!

Well, I'm getting to the end of our pictures for 2011! Yay! It took awhile but I think I'm done and can get started on 2012!:) We wrapped up 2011 with a nice weekend here at home...with no kiddos!:) We left the kids in Valdosta with my parents for two nights and came home for some R&R and a little work thrown in! We worked all day on Sat. taking down all our Christmas decorations and putting it all back in the attic for next year! That was a job but so glad we tackled it and got it done in one day! We then went out to dinner with our friend's Melissa and Geary for New Years Eve! We always have fun with them and that night was no exception! We ate at a little place in Forsyth and our meal lasted for over 2 hours! It was fabulous to be kid free and eat in peace for a night! (Don't get my wrong...I missed them terribly and was ready to get them back but hey we've got to take advantage of the quiet while we can!:)) After dinner we didn't have much planned! What I write next Craig said I might not want to admit~HA! We have the Cherry Blossom Drop here in Macon as our ball drop! I think this is the third year in a row and we have never been! It's not really our thing! HA! Mel tried to talk us all into it two years ago and our group vetoed her idea!:) Well, this year we decided why not! We got downtown at 11:45p.m. Walked to where the Cherry Blossom drop was with about 2 minutes to spare! Snapped a few pictures, watch the cherry blossom drop and were back in the car and driving away at 12:15! Is that sad?! HA! It was a fun little adventure but I can tell we are getting old because we came home and were in the bed soon after! Here are a few I Phone pictures from our night and of the girls once we got them back home!
