Well now that we are in Macon we are trying to embrace the area!:) This week is The Cherry Blossom Festival and what a week it is!! The whole town is pink!! The cherry blossom trees are beautiful and everyone is celebrating by putting pink ribbons on there mailboxes, decorating there cars and businesses and getting into the spirit of the season!! The festivities began on Sat. and we went downtown for kids day in the park. Gingy and Poppop were here for a visit and we had alot of fun. They had cookie decorating, face painting, a large fair with a ferris wheel, tea cups, bounce slides etc., a Sea Lion show, helicopter rides and much much more!! Gracie is a little young for all of that but she enjoyed walking around and seeing everything. She loved watching the helicopter take off and land, loved the balloons:), and loved all the puppies in the park. They were having a puppy fashion show and all the puppies were dressed up in there pinkest outfits!:) She even saw one with a ballerina tutu on!:) I took a few pictures and then my camera ran out of battery!:) Poppop and daddy took a few on there blackberries so I have inlcuded them as well. After the park we headed to Chick-fil-la for lunch and more pink!! All the workers had pink shirts on and the ice cream was pink!! Of course we all had to get some!:) It was a fun day! I hope to have more pictures this week as we continue to experience all the activites!:) 
When we got there this bee came up and gave Gracie a balloon!! She loved this bee. I didn't get a good picture because I didn't have my camera out a ready. One of her balloons floated away while we were there and she asked daddy to take her back to the bee for another one. It was too cute!:)

How fun!! I remember the Cherry Blossom Festival when we lived in Macon. Everything is pink! So glad y'all had a great time. Love y'all!

Great new pictures! We enjoyed eating free cherry ice cream at 3rd and Cherry streets. Gracie might like that event, too! I think they do it all week at noon....
