On The Road Again!:)

Last week Gracie and I headed down to V-town again for a visit. I went down to go to a kids clothing sale and it was a great excuse to visit with family and friends. We have been home several times in the last few weeks but it has been wonderful because it has been hard to be away since moving. I am just use to being close to my parents and grandmother and going to see them whenever I want. It is something I took for granite for 28 years and now I don't anymore! I do miss my family and friends but we are starting to settle in here! Anyway, we went down and were able to visit with several of our good friends. On Sunday I stopped in Tifton and was able to visit my dear sweet friend Lori. Lori and I taught right next door to each other for four years and became the best of friends very quickly!:) We have kept in touch since I left but don't get to see each other as often as we would like. It was nice to have a quick visit while passing through town. We then were able to see our friends Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Carolyn on Monday and Gracie just loves there kiddos- Sydney, Luke and Harris. Gracie also got to have a playdate with her friend Kate while mommy and Mrs. Staci went shopping at the kids sale. A BIG thank-you to Staci's husband who watched both the girls for us. (My mom had knee surgery a few weeks ago and is not up to watching a energetic toddler all by herself yet and my dad had to work:)). We were also able to spend quality time with Nana, Papa and Mama. To round out the trip on Wed. we had lunch with sweet Aunt Liz and Mrs. Heather and stopped off in Tifton to see Aunt La. They have a new addition to the family- baby Cooper and it was great to finally meet him (sorry no pics of him- as soon as I held him he fell asleep and then we put him down. I guess I still have a good touch with babies-HA:)! So, we had a whirlwind trip but lots of fun! Here are a few pics from the trip. Again, I didn't get as many as I would have liked due to chasing Miss Gracie around!:)

Outside after watching a train go by with Papa. (My parents live on a wooded lot behind a railroad track. Whenever the train goes by Gracie goes crazy and has to watch it with Papa. Usually he will take her outside if the weather permits. They made several trip out there on this trip home!)
