On Sunday I had a Southern Living party at our house so daddy and Gracie Leigh had some daddy/daughter time that afternoon. First, daddy took her to Bass Pro shop to walk around. She loved looking at the fish and the boats. Daddy said she was most impressed with the big warehouse where they keep all the boxes/boats. She also came home with some souvenirs from their outing. Daddy bought her a red trucker hat (he said he would have gotten her a pink one but they didn't have it:)) and a farm coloring book! She was SO proud of both of them! After that they went to McDonald's for an icecream. We have a new McDonald's here that is super nice (flat screen t.v.'s, fireplace, etc. and a HUGE play area!) The play area is so big we can go up with her which makes it nice because she is still a little scared. But... on Sunday she did it all by herself. Daddy was so proud of her. There were other kids around so daddy couldn't go up and after a little persuading she did it! They each had M&M McFlurries and daddy texted me while they were eating and said "G is loving all the colors and I can't get it away from her!":) Needless to say she was bouncing OFF the walls when they got home!:)
Tonight Gracie was in such a happy mood while I cooked dinner and while waiting on daddy to get home. I got several "cutie pie" pictures of her being sweet and one not so happy pic!:) She helped me do laundry (see pic below), watched Miss Pattycake with Minnie and then enjoyed playing in the rain with daddy after dinner. Enjoy!

I was folding her laundry and she wanted to help put away her bibs. I was in the den and she came in and got one at a time and took them to the kitchen. When she was done this is what I found! They are in the right drawer- she just couldn't get it shut! I love my little helper!:)
While G and daddy were playing outside it started to rain. Daddy said the first thing she said was "I need my umbrella" in a very panicked voice! Notice she is taking care of herself but letting daddy get wet! (I had to grab my camera fast so these are far away and not very good.)
This is priceless..we were going to let her keep playing but it started to get very windy so daddy told her we had to go in. She was not a happy camper at all!! She would play in any kind of weather- she just loves being outside!:)
