Princess Piggy Tails!

Last Wed. Gracie Leigh's 2K class had their Thanksgiving Program and Picnic and the parents were invited! I absolutely love going to her classroom and seeing her in action!:) The teacher came out and got all the parents together and let us look through the doublesided window into their class before we went in. (It is one of those windows where you can see in from the outside but if you are inside you can't see out.) They were so cute waiting patiently to put on their Indian costumes and for us to come in. G had been talking about this for sometime now so I knew they would be dressed like Indians and sing songs. Each child had their own Chief or Princess name and Gracie was Princess Piggy Tails ~ of course if I had known I would have put her in piggy tails!:) We went in their room and they did so good standing in their place (this is a huge improvement from the Bear picnic where they wanted to run to all of the parents. Her teacher, Mrs. Kelly, said that hopefully by the end of the year they would stand still, sing AND do the hand motions to songs for us!:)) They "sang" some Thanksgiving songs for us and then we got to see all of their artwork around the room. G was so proud to show us all that she had done! We also had a little picnic and she loved that! Here are a few pictures from her special day!
Getting ready to sing!
Singing along a little bit!:)
