Gracie Leigh has become quite the chef lately! She loves to help me cook in the kitchen and cook in her kitchen. Everyday she cooks food in her kitchen and then will set a picnic up for us either at the kitchen table or in her playroom. It is so cute! I bought stuff a few weeks ago to make cupcakes with for the 4th of July. Since we were out of town we waited and made them last Tuesday once we were home. She was so excited. I let her do most everything. I even let her scoop out the batter into the tins (which was very messy...I was having to work hard to keep my OCD at bay!:)). I just wiped up afterwards!:) Here are a few pictures of our little cooking session!

Decorating the cupcakes! (You might be wondering why she is wearing her sunglasses...well, it is very sunny in our kitchen later in the day. I don't want to put blinds on the kitchen windows so we need to get a pull down shade. So, we often wear shades at supper!:))

How fun! I love that y'all wear sunglasses when eating; that cracks me up!
I know why you wear those shades when you eat dinner! Gracie loves to cook!! Gracie, people asked us today in church why we weren't there last week and we kept saying "because we were home eating our blue pancakes with Gracie." They were yummy!!
