Well, this past week has been full of Christmas fun but not without a little girl being very sick! Last Thursday Gracie woke up with a 102 fever. Poor thing was just pitiful. To top it off we were suppose to go see Santa in about 30 minutes and I had to break the news that we couldn't go. She was so upset. Daddy tried to cheer her up by bringing home a movie and grape juice. She was excited about getting to watch alot of t.v.!:) Then she couldn't go to school on the last day before Christmas break. Luckily they had had there party on Wed. so she wasn't missing much! G got much worse over the weekend which resulted in a trip to the hospital. After our 6 hour traumatizing experience (not only for G but mommy too) it turns out she had her first ear, throat and eye infection! Once we started medicine she started to perk up and wanted to have some Christmas fun! On Sunday we went ahead and decorated our gingerbread house, on Monday we made reindeer food and we also watched alot of Christmas movies together! I am happy to say she is feeling tons better and back to her old self again just in time for Christmas! Here are some pictures from the past week with some random ones of her and Lillie before she got sick too! Enjoy!
Getting ready to make food for the reindeer (she was feeling better here!)
Reindeer food: outmeal, sugar and sprinkles~yummy!
On Christmas Eve you sprinkle the food in your front yard so the reindeer can have something to nibble on while Santa is delivering presents. (There is cute little poem that goes with it but I haven't printed it out yet. We also leave carrots inside for them too:)
All done!
Getting ready to decorate her gingerbread house!
Watching sissy decorate! She will be able to help next year!
