Christmas Pageant!

On Dec. 5th, we had Lillie's Dedication and The Purdy Christmas Pageant! My friend Amy got all the kids together and put on a Christmas Pageant to tell the story of Christmas. She gave us our songs and parts ahead of time so we could practice with our kids. She had a couple of dress rehearsals and then the big night came last Sunday. The pageant was in the Purdy's back yard and they had it all set up to look like Bethlehem and a stable. Gracie was the Star and Lillie was baby Jesus! It was the most precious thing I have seen. All the kids did fabulous and it just brought tears to my eyes to hear them tell the story of Jesus' birth and sing songs to worship him! Some of the kids had little solo parts in the songs and Gracie was first up. She did great...she didn't sing as loud as I thought she would..but got all the words right. She had the best time! I think Amy is going to make it a yearly tradition and Gracie is already talking about next year! Here are a few pictures from the kids big night!:)
