Our Chatty Gracie

Gracie has been in rare form the past couple of days. Maybe it's because we have been stuck at the house from "The Big Ice Storm of 2011":) or she just might be acting like herself. If you know G it is probably the later! She has a personality like no other. She wakes up early chatting away and goes to bed chatting. Daddy said tonight he finally just had to close the door on her when saying goodnight because she wouldn't stop talking~ HA! She says some very funny things and I wish I had time to write all of them down. She has been cracking us up the past few days and here are some of the things she has said:

~ This morning I was helping daddy put on his cuff links to his shirt and she wanted to know "why I was putting screws in daddy's shirt!"

~ When daddy was leaving this morning he said his truck had alot of ice on it and G asked "daddy why is your truck broken"

~ We also had a gutter on the back of our house fall today. Besides scaring me and G half to death and me thinking a tree had come through the house (yes it was that loud) G had plenty of questions about it and was very intrigued by the whole thing. When daddy came home she said "daddy, this is serious (with hand motions inserted), you have to come immediately (she is pulling him towards the window)...our house is broken":)

~ This last one was funny to me. She loves to pretend that she is taking a trip or going to the store with a list for me, etc. Today she told me she was going to Florida to get her pink boat. She told me she was going to write me directions. "Mommy you have to leave Macon, go to Colorado, then to Valdosta and then you get to Florida which is by the city of Big Canoe"! I think our family will appreciate that one because that just about covers everyone except D.C.!:)
