Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day (two days late~ Ha)

Gracie was so excited about Father's Day and planned all sorts of things for daddy. We got him several gifts but she also made him a card and painted him a picture of the beach.  Lillie painted him a picture too and they were both so proud of their work! On Sunday morning G wanted me to get her and L up early and get coffee ready for daddy and Papa.  (Nana and Papa were here for the weekend so we got to celebrate with him also!) We got the coffee ready and went upstairs to wake them both up.  Gracie and Lillie ran into our room yelling for daddy to wake up and gave him their cards.  Then it was off to wake Papa up too! We went to church and then the girls had rest time while daddy studied.  After studying we headed off to swim for a little while until it was time to cook supper for daddy.  Gracie had also planned this out weeks in advance.  She wanted to make him one of her recipes out of her cookbook...Very Berry Pancakes. Daddy and I had already been out for our anniversary the night before so I thought that would be ok instead of a big meal:).  They were very yummy and I think he enjoyed them too.  After supper we enjoyed another recipe out of her cookbook...chocolate chip smores~yummy! I think daddy had a great Father's Day! He is the world's best daddy to our two girls and he loves them SO much! We love him SO much too! Happy Father's Day daddy!

 We also want to say a BIG Happy Father's Day to Papa and Poppop! The girls and I are so fortunate to have three wonderful men in our lives....daddy, Papa and Poppop!

These three men are wonderful dad's and granddad's and we are so thankful for each of you!
