Parties and a Present!

The Thursday before Christmas Gracie had her class party at school. I was able to go and help while daddy worked from home and let Lillie nap. The kids helped make reindeer food "edible" and then enjoyed eating it and other goodies. We also had a mom come read The Night Before Christmas. It was really cute! The next day Lillie had her party at MMO. I am now teaching her class two days a week because there teacher left in mid October and they needed someone to fill in pretty quickly. Its been fun to be with Lillie and see how she interacts with the other kids. The kids enjoyed decorating gingerbread cookies and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. I love being able to be a part of each girls school! It's so much fun!;)

The kids got to help dump in raisins, Chex Mix Cereal, M&M's, white chocolate morsels, stick pretzels and cheeze its into a big bowl and stir it around!

I got an early Christmas present from Craig and the girls....gas logs!!! I have wanted these since we moved in and new we had a fireplace but it just wasn't on the top of our list. Well, the Thursday night before Christmas Craig couldn't contain his surprise anymore and had to show me. They had been in the fireplace for a couple of days and I never noticed-ha! We had real wood in there for decoration because we never used it as a wood burning fireplace so I really wouldn't have known. We all have thoroughly enjoyed them so far!!;)
