Gracie loved skating so much when we went to her friends birthday party that she couldn't wait to go back! Now that Craig is done with school (woo hoo!!) we can actually do fun family things without too much planning so we decided to go as a family a few weekends ago! We wondered how Lillie would do and I packed plenty of books and Gracie's Leappad just in case but she surprised us all! They had toddler skates that fit right over the kids shoes. The guy asked me (while holding Lillie) if I wanted Spider-Man or princess?!? I looked at him a little odd and said princess (of course my girly girl wants princess-ha!) It took her a few laps around with mommy but then she got the hang of it and wanted to do it all by herself! Both girls had a blast and were worn out when we left!;)

Sweet girls! Lillie would do a lap (which took awhile) and then want a little break. Then she'd be up at it again. We never needed the toys I packed!;)

Precious!! I am amazed Lil was able to skate! That is awesome!
Roller skating (and later roller blading) was one of my favorite activities while growing up, and I started around Gracie's age. It's great to see Gracie and Lillie enjoying it, too. Nice job, girls.
