Beach Cutie!

We headed to Amelia Island this past weekend for a four day getaway! We had a FABULOUS time swimming in the pool and playing at the beach! Gracie LOVED every minute of it! It was so nice to get away from the craziness of everyday life and just relax as a family! The first day we swam until Gracie's heart was content and then we went out for icecream after supper and she thought that was the biggest treat! She of course picked the pink icecream (strawberry) and ate every bite!:) They have a little icecream shop and shops in the resort and they had a band playing that night which was fun to listen to! The next day she practiced jumping into the big kid pool and collected plenty of seashells on the beach! She also loved going back and forth to the ocean to get water in her bucket to pour in the sand and play with daddy. We went out to supper that night and took her to the bay to see all the boats! She loved that! We spent the rest of the time between the "baby" pool, "big kid" pool and the beach! She would wake up each morning and want to watch the ocean with daddy. They would sit out on the balcony and she would color with her markers and enjoy the ocean. It was so cute!! We ate lunch and supper on the balacony as well and she loved that! We had a great family vacation and hated to leave! Here are a few pictures from our trip. We took a ton so I did try to pick just a few of our favorites to share!:) Enjoy and Happy Summer!:)

One last ride in her turtle! I got this for Gracie her first trip to the beach three years ago! She got in it for a ride around the pool and then was not interested the rest of the time! I guess it is time to put it away because she is getting to be such a big girl!:)
