Sewing!

I took my first sewing class about a month ago with my friend Melissa here in Macon! We both didn't know how to sew so it was perfect! We had alot of fun together and I am starting to try and make some things on my own! In the class we made pants and a dress which you will see below. I have done some burp cloths for baby gifts and made matching pillowcase dresses for Gracie Leigh and Sara Kate. I am working on learning how to applique on shirts as well. I thought I would share a few pictures. I don't have pictures of the burp cloths but I have some more to make for baby gifts along with more dresses so I will post them as I finish them!
This is the outfit I made in sewing class!

Sara Kate and Gracie Leigh modeling their matching outfits!:)

Very nice! I have a pattern for a pillowcase dress that I found on-line- but I am a little scared to try! I started to make a dress months ago and got stuck on the zipper...
