We had a wonderful Easter day today as a family! We went in and woke Gracie Leigh up this morning. We told her Happy Easter and I asked her what was special about today. I knew she was going to say that the Easter Bunny had come because she was excited about that before bed. But, her answer warmed my heart. She said, "Jesus died on the cross for me and now He is risen! The tomb is empty!" Amen my sweet girl! We have been talking about the meaning of Easter and it is amazing how much she has listened and remembered! Of course the next thing out of her mouth was did the Easter bunny come!:) He did make a stop and we headed downstairs to see what he had left. Gracie loved seeing her basket filled with goodies. After a yummy breakfast of cinnamon rolls we headed to church. We love our church here and the people at our church. It was a wonderful service of worshiping our risen Savior! After church we headed home for lunch, a much needed nap by all three of us and then daddy planted flowers in some of our pots outside. Gracie enjoyed "helping" and had fun playing outside. Here are a few pictures from our morning. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday celebrating our Savior Jesus Christ!
Posing with our bunny!:) (I told her not to sit because the pollen is terrible here and I didn't want a yellow dress:) so she decided to squat instead which was funny)
Picuture with daddy!
Being silly!
Our sweet girl! Happy Easter!

I am not surprised about her answer about Easter morning! I meant to tell you that when she was here she was all into the Easter bunny and the Easter egg hunts, however, she was also talking about how Jesus died for her and rose again! For a soon to be 3 year old she understands a lot! Of course I am the proud Gingy!!!
