Bechtel Family: 8 Months!

Well, I am really way behind on my pictures! I down loaded them tonight and had 295 pictures alone these past two weeks! We have been busy with end of year activities, swim lessons and a family trip to the beach! All of these pictures will be coming very soon...I promise! BUT, I have been meaning to post about my little angel being 8 months old and here she is about to turn 9 months tomorrow! The time is flying by! It is so fun though! There are tons that happened this month that I want to remember! First things first...I just love this little girl! She is just the light of our lives (along with her big sissy too of course!:)) Lillie has started eating some table food. She loves puffs and cheerios and gets SO excited when she sees them come out! She squeals really loud and kicks her feet back and forth and shakes her arms! It's the cutest thing! She has also been showing alot of excitement over certain toys, or when she sees her mommy or daddy walk in the room!:) If someone else is holding her she kicks her feet back and forth with excitement and gets a big smile on her face!

She has also been sitting up by herself! If we start out laying her down she will sit herself up and gets so proud of herself! She has also started crawling...or the army crawl as we like to call it! Big sissy did the same thing! She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth and has even taken a little crawl from that. But, then she falls to her tummy and uses one arm to scoot where she wants to go! She has gotten really fast in the last couple of days! The days of leaving her and walking away and coming back to find her in the same spot are gone...sigh!

Lillie loves to talk to us. She and Gracie have little conversations together and she will just jabber on and on! She also loves to make raspberry noises! She does this all the time and when we do it back to her she laughs and laughs! While nursing the other night she stopped, looked at me and made the noise! I just cracked up and she got so tickled too!

She has also started waving bye bye and hi! She doesn't do it every time but we are working on that!:)

She has also graduated up from her baby tub to a bath seat in the tub with Gracie! Oh boy was Big Sis excited about this one! They are having a blast together in the tub and it is SO much fun to watch! These girls love each other so much and it just melts my heart to see them together!

Lillie also went on her first vacation to the beach! Lots more to come on that one but she did great! She has also been dragged around to all of big sissy's activities and is still so easy going about everything! We have had a fun 8 months and look forward to see what next month holds! She goes back to the Dr. this coming month so I will have a report about that soon too!
