I am finally trying to catch up on Easter Pictures! We had alot of fun leading up to Easter! We had G's school Easter egg hunt, picnic with friends, a visit with the Easter Bunny and church and family time on Sunday! We dyed Easter Eggs while G was out on Spring Break the week before and that's always fun! Everything was good until the Sat. before Easter! Lillie woke up throwing up! Ugh!! She didn't run a fever and acted fine so I just thought it was something she ate the night before (We went to Mexican). We opted out of our church Easter egg hunt that day and headed to return something at the mall just to get out for a little while since daddy was in class. When we pulled up at our outdoor mall we saw the Easter Bunny and a little Kid area with lots of fun things to do! Both girls were excited and we went over to check it all out! They both posed with the Easter Bunny and Lillie just kept waving and waving at him! It was cute! Sunday was a great family day but that night was no fun! G and I came down with what we now think Lillie must of had which was the stomach bug! Lil didn't seem to get it bad at all but G and I were pitiful for two days! G layed on the couch and didn't move all of Monday and that's saying alot for her! I don't think she has ever done that! Craig stayed with us until lunch and then had to go to work! I have to say that was the worst afternoon I think I have ever had! I was so sick and trying to take care of another sick child along with a child who is perfectly fine but can't understand why I couldn't get off the couch was tough! When daddy came home that night I don't think Lillie has ever been so excited to see him in all her days! Ha! She probably thought finally a healthy person! Well, daddy came down with it Tuesday night so it definitely took it's toll through our house! We survived and got better just in time for G's birthday party on Sat. I have tons of pictures to come but here are the rest of our Easter pictures! Enjoy!
Dying Easter Eggs while out on Spring Break!
She had fun doing them!
After they dried she added stickers!
Gracie was so excited to see the Easter Bunny...she has only seen him once before and I think it was her second Easter up in Big Canoe. The sun was very bright so she was squinting but she was very happy!:)
The girls and the Easter Bunny!
Making an Easter bracelet!
She was so excited to sit their baskets out for the Easter Bunny! I have to say I don't really know what to do about the Easter bunny. We sat the baskets outside this year because I thought it was weird that we tell G he just comes in our house. Then we ended up just putting them on the fireplace after we filled them instead of back outside to make it easier. She didn't really ask any questions until later that day about it all. She wanted to know how he comes in with the alarm on and if we leave the door unlocked what about bad people coming in. I think this might have been our last year for her with the Easter Bunny....she is just getting older and has alot of questions and I have never wanted to lie to her. We went along with it for fun while she was smaller but when she starts questioning it all I just want to be truthful because really it's not all about the Easter Bunny and candy and that is something we strive to instill in both the girls about Easter and Christmas.
She wanted to leave a note for the Easter Bunny!:)
G colored this bunny mask and then had fun hoping around the house after setting out their baskets!
G got a chocolate cross from the Easter bunny last year and loved it and wanted another one this year! My child does not forget anything!!! HA!
Checking out her goodies!
So excited!
It took Lillie a little while to warm up to it all!
She loved her bubbles and goldfish and really got into her basket after breakfast! She's like her mommy..got to eat soon after getting up in the mornings!
Craig hid eggs for the girls to hunt after lunch on Sunday! They had a blast doing this!
He just put some in the grass for Lillie to find easily and then hid some a little harder for G in the bushes, etc.
Having fun!
More eggs!
Taking a little break!:)
Showing us all her eggs! Some were filled with candy or cheerios (whatever we had on hand:)) and some were empty!
