Just Climbing Around

Its official..we have a climber in the house! Ha! This is not really shocking news because this little stinker has been climbing on everything since she could walk!

Last week she took it to a new level and climbed out of her crib! She was down for a nap and I was in the office. I heard her screaming/crying and it didn't sound right. I got closer to her door and I knew she was right behind it. Sure enough I opened it and there she was standing by the door! It scared me to death! Not sure if she climbed or fell out but she was fine! I proceeded to take the bumper pads out and her piano toy at the end of her bed! This had never happened to us before! Gracie never climbed out of her bed or even thought about it. She was in her crib until it was time for a big girl bed and she was almost 3! She did fine that night but the next day at nap I watched her on our video monitor. Sure enough she stuck her leg up like she was going to try and climb out! I busted through the door and I think scared her to death! She got a little spanking on the leg and a talking to! She hasn't tried it since but I have a feeling the big girl bed will come alot sooner with her than G!

She is Miss Independent and wants to do EVERYTHING her big sister does! It's cute most of the time unless it's just something she absolutely is not old enough for and that's when she gets MAD! She loves brushing her teeth just like G! This is G's stool she is standing on in the bathroom but when G is on it she pulls up the potty stool and stands right beside her and they brush together! Sweet sister moments!What to do with this little stinker!?! She's getting too big WAY too fast! She's already 20 months and time is flying by! Trying to enjoy each and every day!
