Gracie's 5th Birthday Party!

Gracie's 5th birthday was April 18th! We started celebrating the Sat. before with her Fairy/Tinkerbell Birthday party! Her birthday was a week long event with lots of fun stuff pretty much everyday! HA! Here is the first of many posts about my sweet girls 5th birthday! (I have had problems with blogger and uploading pictures so these are half of her party pics and I will do another post with a few more) We had her birthday at a place here called Sportz Quest.  It's a gym for tumbling and gymnastics.  When Gracie was a little younger we did several tumble classes there and she loved them! We stopped doing them once she started dance because it would have been too much but she loves coming back to parties and decided that's where she wanted hers this year! All her other birthday parties we have had at our house so this was a different thing for us and I LOVED it! It was so easy! I brought a few decorations (and I didn't even have to do that because they provide the basics...but it you know me I just can't help it:).  We also brought the cake and ice cream, drinks and party favors.  Other than that they did the rest! They helped me set up and couldn't have been any sweeter and helpful! They entertained the kids with an obstacle course, games, stretches, trampoline and then they can have free play on the bounce castle and slide. They serve all the food and clean up! It's well worth the money! Gracie and all her friends had the best time and we got to really enjoy it and didn't feel stressed about everything! She wants hers there again next year too so I would say it was a success! Here are some party decoration pictures and a few action shots! More to come soon! Enjoy!

The fabulous cake made by a fellow mom friend! She has done several for me in the past but I think this has been the best one! I sent her a picture of one I found online and she made it look exactly like it! I had a Tinkerbell candle that went on top to complete it but hadn't put it on yet when this pic was taken! I just loved it!

Nana and Papa and the Birthday girl!
Putting dolls in the donation bucket! G wanted to do this instead of birthday presents! She remembered how we did this for Lillie's party and came to me and Craig months ago and said she wanted to do it too! It absolutely melted my heart because I was not going to ask her about it at all! We asked her if she understood that her friends would not bring her presents and she said she did and that was fine! She did follow up with "I will get some presents though won't I?" Ha! Of course this child got more presents than she needed from some of her friends, family and us too!:) We are taking the dolls to the Children's Hospital here so I will have more on that later!
While waiting for all the kids to arrive I had color sheets out to keep them busy! This little stinker did not want to be left out!:)
She takes coloring seriously!:)
Girl talk!:)
Happy girl with her Nana!
The teacher leading G through the obstacle course so everyone will know what to do!

Whee...down the slide!

I have to thank our friends Geary and Melissa for the pictures! They were my photographers for the day! It was awesome to not have to worry about pictures and just enjoy! They captured tons of wonderful memories! Thanks guys!
