..about 20 plus days ago for Kindergarten but it became more real this past Thursday night when we went to meet Gracie's teachers! We had all been excited about this because none of us knew what to expect. I was so curious to find out who her teachers were going to be and also see what she thought about the school. We had a parent meeting first in the lunchroom while the kids whet to see their classrooms with their new teachers. It was information overload but also good stuff to know. Then we went and saw G's classroom and she was sitting at a little chair like a big girl coloring. We met the teacher, signed up for all sorts of things that mom's sign up for, wrote lots of checks (they always want your money:)) and I felt good when we left! G was super excited about it all! On Friday I had planned a little "girls" morning with her to finish up some school shopping and take her to lunch Lillie went to play at a friend's house with my friend's son and her nanny while G and I had some special time together! We shopped and then met daddy for lunch! This past weekend was full of family time and getting ready for today! I had been promising G we'd make some homemade pretzels that I had seen on pinterest. So, yesterday we got busy and she was a great helper in the kitchen! They turned out yummy and were fun to make. I packed some in G's lunchbox today so I hope she liked them as much today as she did yesterday!:) Here are some pictures leading up to her first day of school!
