Purdy Egg Hunt

On Good Friday my friend Amy had her 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at her house! The kids had a blast hunting eggs and playing together! We started out by hunting eggs and she had shiny eggs hidden as well. As the kids found them they brought them to her. After the hunt she sat the kids down and told the Resurrection story using the eggs. She did this last year and it is always so neat and fun! After the story she wrapped the kids in toilet paper like Jesus was wrapped in the tomb. Then we counted to three and the kids broke free yelling "He is Risen"! Again, another very cute idea and a great message for the kids! We had a picnic lunch together and let the kids enjoying playing! It was alot of fun and Gracie is already looking forward to it again next year!:) Ready for the Egg Hunt!
