NYC: Day 3

We had another rainy/cloudy day on Monday (day 3 of our trip). We rearranged again and it turned out to be a perfect relaxing day. We started out by eating breakfast at a yummy cafe and then walked down to Central Park to explore. We walked over half of the park...that was a ton of walking! It was so cool to be in the middle of the city but in such a peaceful park. We followed a few walking trails and just wondered around. Perfect...even with the weather!;) Craig had been wanting so badly to have lunch from a food vendor on the street one day so we did that this day. He enjoyed his meat on a stick-ha! I was not as impressed but that's just me!;) We decided to head to Macy's to do some ornament shopping and ended up walking up 5th Ave. again. We ran into an Art of Shaving store and Craig had been wanting to get a straight razor shave for awhile now. We went in and they were able to get him in. I got to sit down and he got to also so it was a win win! We made it to the 11 story Macy's and that was neat and overwhelming to see!;) Then it was back to the hotel to change and head to dinner. We ate at a delicious Italian restaurant called Lattazi and then went to see the Rockettes! That was a fabulous show!! We kept saying Gracie would love this. I hope one day we can take the girls. For now they've settled for the show on Netflex!;) After the show the weather was nice so we walked some more. We ended up at Grand Central station and had to walk in to take a look. It was quiet but so pretty. It was amazing just how busy the streets were during the day and at night. It is truly the city that never sleeps!

This was really pretty and so much detail in everything

The bridges were so pretty!

The great lawn!

It was funny all the ducks were in a line clear across the pond. We think there was a landing of some sort in the middle
