Ready to leave ATL! I was having some anxiety on Saturday about leaving the girls but I knew they were in good hands!;) The weather was not great and our flight was a little rough but we made it!

I survived my very first cab ride-whew those are rough!! It was rainy/cloudy for most of our trip so pictures are dark. We trudged on though and had fun! Here is a view right outside our hotel. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza and it was right in Times Square! It was the best location to so many things!!

We ate at Roxy's right in Times Square for lunch. The sandwiches were huge! The menu said triple decker sandwiches so we split one and glad we did...this was just Craig's half! It was delicious!

Here we are being silly standing in Times Square. We are the two in the middle with our phones in front of our faces taking a picture. They had these huge tvs where the camera would shoot right down on the sidewalk and then you could see yourself on the big screen!;)

Our first stop that afternoon was to the 9/11 memorial. We rode the subway down there which was an experience in itself-ha! This is a picture of the new World Trade Center being built!

A little better picture but you can tell how cloudy it was.

This was such a beautiful memorial-simple yet powerful all in one!

Craig took these panoramic shots of both the North and South pools.

This is the Survivor tree!

We saw a few flowers and flags beside names inscribed around the pools.

Beautiful!

We ate at a great pizza place that night and they had this yummy chocolate ice cream dessert! You will notice we enjoy great places to eat while traveling!;)

We saw our first broadway show Wicked and LOVED it! A lot of people had said we would and it was amazing! The theatre was so neat and the cast were so talented!

Very elaborate set and stage!

We had great seats! Going to another broadway show is a must when we visit again!
