Bechtel Family: Birthday Day!

We celebrated Gracie's actual birthday on Wed. April 18th! She had a jammed packed day with lots of fun stuff! The night before we told her that we would have to wait and open her presents until after supper on her birthday (mornings are just too crazy around here) but we told her we would give her one before breakfast! We let her open that and then it was off to school where Lillie and I came during snack time to bring Birthday Treats! She helped me make the cupcakes the day before and was so excited to have us there! After school it was off to Chick-fil-la to eat a birthday lunch with Amy and Annalyn! Then, we scooted home to put Lillie down for a nap and get G ready for picture day at dance. Daddy was able to come home and be with Lillie so she could nap and I could take G. We got done with pictures early so we came back home to let G open all her presents which she loved doing! Then it was off to supper! Most of the time I pack the girls meal when going out to eat because they will only eat at CFA, Cracker Barrel and IHOP. We had just been to two of the three places so we asked G where else she wanted to go. Her only request was we go somewhere that had a brownie sundae and would sing to her. Daddy pulled up a few choices on his Ipad and showed her the desserts. She liked the look of Texas Roadhouse so off we went. She wanted to dress fancy and put on lots of jewelry and her sparkle shoes!:) I have to say Roadhouse did not disappoint! The food was yummy but the dessert was delicious! I think it's safe to say she had a very Happy 5th Birthday!:)

It was a princess My Little Pony! Gracie has been asking for this for months ever since a little girl in her class brought it in for one of their letter days. She never stopped talking about it (in a sweet way) so we were excited to finally give it to her and she was equally as happy!:)

Outdoor sports!:) Daddy picked out a ball and glove and a basketball just her size! And...of course they are her favorite color...pink!:)

She has also been wanting a scooter after seeing one of her friends that lives around the corner with one. She had practiced with his and his sisters and gotten pretty good! She was so excited to get one of her own!
