Gracie had a fun filled last week of school! Their class tye dyed t-shirts one day, had water day at school and had their class party another day. For their class party they had Messy Day at one of the girls houses in her class. Bless her mom's heart for having messy day at her home! It was definitely messy and it got cut short due to rain so she had 17 kids (that were still messy) piled into her kitchen!! I was really wondering what Gracie would think about getting so messy (after all she does take after me in that department~ HA). Well, my baby had NO problems getting good and messy and had the best time doing it! It was alot of fun! They started out by having the parents participate with their child in a scavenger hunt to find a bag full of end of the year goodies for the parents which included art work and a book of things they had done throughout the year! Then it was off to get dirty! They had stations set up and about 4 kids per station. There was chalk, paint, jello, bubbles and flour! I think flour and paint were the most popular and of course the most messy! The thunder and lightening were coming so it was cut short but we managed a group picture and to rinse the kids under the water hose before running inside for party snacks! A friend of mine let Lillie come to her house so I could be with Gracie and not have to worry about two girls getting messy! It was nice to be with my big girl on her party day! Enjoy!
Before we started, the teachers presented each parent with a silhouette picture of our child and questions they had answered about each parent. It was too cute!
Ready to go on the scavenger hunt!
Gracie and Sadie were partners. Don't have any more pictures from the hunt because I was too busy hopping like a bunny, growling and crawling like a bear and counting my steps to find our bag of goodies!:)
Sweet girls being silly!
Getting messy with paint!
More paint!
Flour angels! There was 50lbs of flour! We had to bring 25lbs of it! That's alot of flour!
Flour throwing!
Messy girl!
She was covered from head to toe!
One happy Frog Class!:)
