Well I took a little break from blogging to go to the beach:) but we're back and I hope to get back to catching up on all that we've been up too! I wanted to pick up where I left off right after Gracie's graduation. Nana and Papa stayed the night with us and the next morning Gracie let her butterflies go. We did this last year and she loved it and did it again this year. Last year she got the butterfly pavilion and caterpillars for her birthday. I saved the pavilion and we just reused it this year and I ordered new caterpillars. We watched the caterpillars make their transition from that to chrysalis to butterfly. She named all her butterflies and was a little sad to let them go. It was well past time though. We had just not had the time to do it so they stayed in there house a few extra days. When Craig got up on Sat. he saw two weren't moving. He poked at the side of the house and nothing. We were afraid two had died but thankfully they perked up. Here are some pictures of there progression and releasing them into the backyard!
Five little caterpillars...
...made their chrysalis
Gracie made a picture for there house of a butterfly...just in case they weren't sure what they were suppose to look like!:)
Ready to release her butterflies!
