For Gracie's birthday she got a Build-A-Bear Bunny from our friends Melissa and Geary! We had never been to Build-A-Bear so we were both excited!:) We asked Mrs. Melissa to go with us on the Friday after her birthday to stuff her bunny! We all had the best time there! It was SO cute! Here is what we did....Enjoy!
Gracie went to school on Friday and left her bunny, which she named Lizzy, in the car seat ready to go when she got out! We went to eat lunch and then it was off to Build her Bunny!
You start off by picking a sound for your animal. Gracie picked a magical sound. Then you head over to the stuffing machine to stuff your animal!
Gracie got to press the button with her foot to make the stuffing go into her bunny! She had to give a hug test to decide if it was stuffed enough. She wanted her bunny soft and cuddly!
Next she picked a heart for her bunny!
Before putting the heart inside she had to go through a series of steps...rub on her funny bone so she will be funny, rub on her cheeks so she will be happy, rub on her head so she will be smart, etc.
Here she is making a wish for her bunny before putting her heart in!
Stuffing the heart in good!
Now that her bunny, Lizzy, was stuffed it was off to give her a bath!
Lillie enjoyed watching all that took place!
Next it was to the dressing station. G walked around and picked out about three or four outfits she tried on Lizzy! It was cute. She would try on an outfit and then look at her in the mirror. She decided on a top and skirt and some pink sandals. Mrs. Melissa also got her a pair of ballerina Pajamas because she said every bunny needs Pajamas!:)
Then we went over and made a birth certificate for Lizzy at the computer!
Gracie and Lizzy...all done!
Before nap time Lizzy had to be changed into her new pajamas!
This is also Lizzy's new spot in the car now...see her in the middle all buckled up?:)
