Two Saturdays ago we went to an event here called Touch a Truck. It's put on by the Junior Service League here and our friend Melissa gave us some tickets, The event helped raised money for Literacy here in Macon. They had all kinds of trucks and cars there from ambulances, a fire truck, dump truck, limousine, helicopter, race car, and many more. The kids could get inside all the vehicles and blow the horns or do the sirens. Gracie liked looking at them all from a distance but wasn't interested in really getting in any that made noise! HA! It was loud with alot going on. We got a few pictures with the vehicles and then she spotted the bounce house so that was a treat! They also had face painting and snacks! We met our friends Julie, Stewart and their little boy Carson who is a few months younger than Lillie. He had fun until they were standing in front of the fire truck for a family picture and one kid inside blew the horn! Scared them all but it took little Carson a little while to recover! It was a fun outing and then afterwards we headed to the girls favorite spot, Chick-fil-la for lunch! Here are some pictures from my phone!
Daddy and Gracie in a stretch hummer limousine!
Gracie liked the race car but didn't want to get inside..I don't blame her!
Daddy and his girls!
Gracie was excited about the helicopter! She thought it was cool!
Would you like to have these two flying your plane???
They'd be cute but a little distracted! Ha!
Guess who's under the hat...
..sweet baby girl! They gave out these little hats but Gracie didn't want to wear hers but Lillie enjoyed playing with it!
G getting her face painted!
Showing off her butterfly and snow cone!
Lillie wasn't digging the face painting at first and then she saw a little boy getting one on his arm and had to do it too. She went up to the lady and pointed at her arm. It was so cute!
So happy!
Me, Lillie, Julie and Carson! Gracie is in the bounce house behind us!:)
